 IRClient
Description: a shareware IRC client for Risc OS. IRClient is the original IRC client for Risc OS, and arguably the best available.
For those of you who don't know, IRC (Internet Relay Chat) uses a network of computers to carry messages in real time. It can be viewed as a way of getting messages to friends and relatives in foriegn countries cheaply; a way of making new friends; a way of finding out information from people first-hand; or many other things.
IRClient is a shareware product, retailing at a mere £10. The non-registered version has exactly the same functionality as the registered version.

LIRC
Description: LIRC is an IRC client. It allows you to connect to an IRC server, and talk to
people all over the world.
Requirements
- RISC OS 3.1 seems to be sufficient.
- The Toolbox modules.
- An Internet stack.
List of main features
- Unlimited number of windows, lists, entries in lists, etc.
- Extensive script language, of which Basic is a subset.
- Child tasks.
- Uses ZapRedraw, i.e. fast.
- Flood protection, both incoming and outgoing.
- Supports all normal IRC protocols, and many additional ones.
- A large number of things are customisable, as usual
