WinBot

Description: WinBot is an IRC Bot for Windows. It allows you to administrate your favourite IRC channels, and maintain auto-op lists, party lines, and other features, and also contains a scripting language modelled on BBC BASIC, which can be used to add any new features you require.
Unlike eggdrop, WinBot is also usable as a standard IRC client, in the same way as mIRC. Although this is not what it is primarily designed for, it is much easier to do than with eggdrop, requiring no telnet access or requiring you to log into a shell account.

Darkbot

Description: Darkbot is a very fast and small program written in C language which connects to IRC from an Unix or Windows operating system and automatically "talks" and responds to users' questions. Originally created by Jason Hamilton as an aid for help channels to answer repeated questions from its virtually unlimited database, it has became a very popular talking robot in a generic sense, being used all over IRC networks for different purposes and in 17 languages. EnergyMech Popular

Description: The EnergyMech is a UNIX compatible IRC bot programmed in the C language, freely distributable under GNU General Public License (GPL). The EnergyMech is a fully functional IRC bot, written entirely in the C programming language. It has common features such as userlists, shitlists, channel protection, DCC partyline, linking and lots more.
The EnergyMech started out as a hack of the combot but is today quite different and more sophisticated. One of the main ideas of the EnergyMech is that it should be easy both to setup and use. The popular eggdrop requires that TCL is installed on a system for it to compile sucessfully, the EnergyMech has no such requirements. A person that is familiar with UNIX would have no trouble installing an EnergyMech and getting it up and running.
